Spirulina Smoothies

Spirulina is a great superfood ingredient for smoothies because you can buy it frozen and add it to nearly any recipe. Here are some recipes to try that should taste delicious.

 

Green Spirulina Smoothie


1 cup of milk (preferably almond, soy or coconut)
1 cup of fresh or frozen mixed berries
1 fresh or frozen banana
1 Stick of frozen Spirulina
A little honey or agave to sweeten (optional)


Even Greener Spirulina Smoothie

Embrace the nutrition of green ingredients in this smoothie...


1 cup of alkaline water, green tea, or apple juice
1 cucumber, sliced up
1 cup of spinach leaves
1 green apple, sliced
1 Stick of frozen Spirulina
A little honey or agave to sweeten (optional)

Spirulina Apple Martini



Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz (1 part) Apple Schnapps / Calvados
1/2 oz (1 part) Cointreau
1 stick of Spirulina4Life's Supreme Green

Preparation: Mix in a shaker, then pour into a chilled glass.

Garnish and serve.
Standard garnish: Apple slice, Cherry
